인도와 아시아의 전통 건축과 조각에서 영감을 받은 작품입니다. 피 알 다로즈는 고대 인도 사원의 형태와 장식에서 모티프를 가져와 도자 기둥을 제작하며, 건축과 조각의 관계를 지속적으로 탐구해 왔습니다. 은은한 유약으로 마감된 항아리의 상단에는 사원 입구를 지키는 수호자나 전사의 형상이 추상적으로 표현되어 있습니다. 이처럼 작가는 전통적인 그릇의 형태에 건축적 요소와 조각적 이미지를 결합하여, 실용적인 기물이 현대 조각으로 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 보여줍니다.

This work is inspired by traditional buildings and sculptures in India and Asia. Inspired by shrines in ancient India, P. R. Daroz created ceramic poles and has posed questions about the relationship between architectural structure and sculpture. The upper part of the large jar with a beautifully glazed surface abstractly depicts a guard at the entrance of a shrine or a warrior. Through this work, the artist shows how the tradition of vessels, originally meant for functional purposes, can be recreated as modern sculpture. The image of a face on the thin ceramic panel is the same as the warrior depicted on the upper part of the large jar.
