Daehyung Lee, Artistic Director of the Gyeonggi Ceramics Biennale 2026 has expanded the horizons of contemporary art through major international projects, including Decoding Korea (2024), an exhibition commemorating the Paris Olympics; CONNECT, BTS (2020), a global project spanning five countries; and his role as Artistic Director of the Korean Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale (2017). In 2023, he participated as co-executive producer of the documentary Nam June Paik: Moon Is the Oldest TV, and in 2024, he achieved a rare distinction by winning all three of the world’s leading design awards—Red Dot, iF, and IDEA. As an international advisor to the Nam June Paik Cultural Foundation and the ArtScience Museum, he has been at the forefront of exploring the convergence of art and technology. In recent years, he has also been leading large-scale public art projects in Shinan-gun, Korea, collaborating with international artists such as Antony Gormley and Yukinori Yanagi.
